Michael has successfully founded five companies, of which two were non-profits, and one a private school which grew from 90 students to 1 500 in seven years. With qualifications in law, economics, coaching, innovation and education, he established FTIFA Cape Town in 2023.

 

Michael is driven by the desire to impact lives, and to see young men become the adults they were created to be.

Brent is our resident Sport Scientist and Lecturer. With an education spanning across four South African and European universities in the fields of sport science, psychology, and management, he is passionate about health & fitness, personal & professional growth, and serving as a positive male role model to developing youths and young men.

Jordyn Davy

Marketing Manager

Jordyn Davy is the Marketing Manager. She graduated cum laude with a BCom in Strategic Brand Management from Vega School, one of South Africa’s leading creative business schools. Passionate about football and storytelling, Jordyn thrives on creativity, collaboration, and showcasing the academy’s vision to audiences near and far.”

Alec Poole

Pre-Academy Manager

Alec is our Pre-Academy Manager and Senior Coach. He is an entrepreneur and dedicated manager and coach for multiple clubs and organisations globally. Alec brings a dynamic and forward thinking approach to every aspect of his life.

Anthony Godfrey

Academy Technical Director/President

Anthony Godfrey spent over a decade coaching for Liverpool Football Club. His previous role with LFC as the Coaching Resource Manager was to ensure the coach recruitment and education of ‘The Liverpool Way’ was delivered to high and authentic standard of the Club for all LFC International Academies around the world.

As the Academy Director of 7EA, Anthony oversees the all technical programs related to both player and coach development . Anthony creates a unique identity within a youth football culture by implementing coaching curriculum, coach education programme, Pre-Academy development and that has developed success for player and coach development along with creating a rich football environment for individuals to excel in.

Wayne Scholes

Executive Chairman

Wayne Scholes is an entrepreneur who has established, acquired and invested in businesses around the world, developing them into industry leaders in technology, entertainment, and hospitality. He has previously worked with brands such as Virgin Entertainment Group, NBC and Sony.

He is passionate about offering opportunities for youth footballers to develop and achieve their full potential – both as players and young people – wherever they play in the world. Wayne enjoys working with community charities, he’s a diehard season ticket holder at Liverpool FC, rarely missing a match. And he loves to travel!
