We are based in Hout Bay, on the beautiful coast of Cape Town. The academy overlooks the beach, providing a safe and inspiring environment for training and personal growth.
Our programs are designed for boys aged 14–19, focusing on both elite football development and personal growth.
Our team includes UEFA A-licensed coaches with professional playing experience in Europe. They provide structured, high-level training while supporting each player’s development both on and off the pitch
A typical day starts with early morning training — usually about two hours on the field. After that, players move into speed and agility work or testing, depending on the schedule. From there, the day splits depending on the player’s pathway. Boys who are still completing school go into their academic sessions, while the gap year players attend their Physical IQ classes in sports science and coaching. During the day, players usually have around two hours of free time if they don’t have academic commitments. We also include recovery sessions, stretching, or yoga to help them manage their workload and stay healthy.
Yes. Education is available for players who are still completing high school. They continue their academics through an online schooling programme called Koa Academy or any online schooling platform of their parents choice, with support provided on-site when needed. For players who have finished school, we offer the Physical IQ gap year pathway, where they study sports science and coaching while training full-time.
We focus on building resilience, focus, and confidence through guidance and structured programs, ensuring players grow as athletes and individuals.
